Date of the next presidential elections of Iran has been announced, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to Iran's Deputy Interior Minister Jamal Orf, 13th presidential elections will be held on June 18, 2021.
He also said the second phase of elections to the parliament of the 11th convocation will be held on September 11 of the current year.
The second phase of the parliamentary elections will be organized in 9 provinces and 24 cities over 11 election districts.
"Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the holding of live meeting with voters by the candidates that will participate in the election, will be prohibited", he said.
Jamal Orf also added that 118 parties have passed official registration in the country.
