India registered 380 deaths from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, increasing the national death toll from the infection to 9,900, India's Health and Family Welfare Ministry unveiled on Tuesday. The number of daily fatalities grew at a higher rate compared to the day prior, APA reports citing Teletrader.
A total of 343,091 people in India contracted coronavirus since the beginning of the outbreak, marking a rise of 10,667 from Monday's figure. However, the daily increase in confirmed cases fell from the previous day.
Meanwhile, 180,012 Indian citizens successfully recovered from the virus since the pandemic began, the ministry said.
