Iranian MFA condemns Armenia's rocket attacks and massacre of civilians

Iran condemned rocket attacks on residential units and civilian infrastructures as well as massacre of civilians, said ranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh while commenting on violation of ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA reports citing IRNA.

Khatibzadeh expressed regret over violation of ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia: "We condemn rocket attacks on residential units and civilian infrastructures as well as massacre of civilians. We further express sympathy with the families of the victims."

Khatibzadeh called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to stay loyal to truce and resume talks within the framework of international regulations, to respect each other's territorial integrity, and leave occupied cities and said Iran is ready to facilitate the process of talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia to reach a sustainable peace in the region.
