Special quarantine regime announced in Iran

Due to coronavirus threat, the special quarantine regime has been announced in Iran, the deputy minister of Interior Affairs of Iran Hossein Zulfugari said in a statement, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

H. Zulfugari said all travels are being cancelled beginning from today.

“All parks, education institutions will be closed. All events, where many people may gather, are prohibited”, the deputy minister stressed.

He noted that the vehicles of the drivers violating the rules will be retained and be subjected to a fine amounting to 500 thousand tomans, while the welfare facilities and shops violating the rules will be closed for the period of one month.
