Two terrorist groups neutralized in Iran

Two terrorist groups have been neutralized in Iran, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

The report disseminated by Iran’s Security Minister says the ministry has neutralized members of two terrorist groups close to the separatist forces.

According to the report, the members of two terrorist groups penetrated onto the territory of Iran from a neighbor country were neutralized in Piranshahr region of the Western Azerbaijan province of Iran. Some 16 members of the terrorist group have been arrested, 2 pieces of “Kalashnikov” assault rifles, the explosive substances, a pistol, and 240 pieces of bullets were confiscated from them.

The report says some of the detained terrorists have had a role in assassination of innocent people. Besides, some of them have killed a child of one of the persons supporting the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
