Former Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai and head of High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah have met with Taliban, APA reports citing Khaama Press News Agency.
Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah have met with Anas Haqqani, a member of the Taliban negotiating team in Doha, and Brother Sarajudind Haqqani, one of the three deputies of Afghanistan Islamic Emirate.
The meeting was also attended by the speaker of the upper house of representatives Fazal Haid Muslimyar and chief of staff of then-president Hamid Karzai Karim Khuram.
Media were not invited to cover the meeting and there are yet to be given full details about the contents of the visit.
