Kazakhstan records 1,174 cases of coronavirus, 8 deaths

Kazakhstan reported 1,174 cases of the coronavirus infection, the Health Ministry said on June 18, APA reports citing AKIPress.

Nur-Sultan reported 372 cases, Almaty city - 105, Karaganda region - 152, East Kazakhstan region - 90, 71 cases were reported in West Kazakhstan region, 62 in Atyrau region, 44 in Pavlodar region, 38 in Akmola region, 37 in Shymkent city, 37 in Almaty region, 34 in Aktobe region, 32 in Kostanay region, 30 in Mangistau region, 20 in Kyzylorda region, 18 in Zhambyl region, and 16 in North Kazakhstan as well as Turkestan region.

Kazakhstan reported a total of 406,383 COVID-19 cases.

1,435 people recovered in a day bringing total number of recoveries to 382,461.

8 people died of coronavirus bringing death toll to 4 211.
