Kyrgyzstan confirms 1,238 new coronavirus cases

Kyrgyzstan registered 1,238 new coronavirus cases for the past day, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Jalalidin Rahmatullaev told a briefing on July 8, APA reports citing AKIPress.

These new cases include 693 in Bishkek, 151 in Chui region, 89 in Batken region, 86 in Jalal-Abad region, 82 in Osh region, 67 in Osh, 38 in Issyk-Kul region, 17 in Naryn region, 15 in Talas region.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reached 135,739.

Ten lethal cases linked to coronavirus infection were registered for the past day, including 6 in Bishkek, 3 in Chui region, 1 in Issyk-Kul region.

COVID-19 toll reached 2,073.
