A telephone conversation has been held between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, APA's bureau in Tehran reports.
Continuation of cooperation in the fight against terrorist and takfiri groups and taking necessary measures for the prevention of the latest attacks on the diplomatic corps of Iran in Iraq have been discussed during the phone conversation.
H. Rouhani has welcomed Iraqi assistance for the resolution of conflicts among regional countries. He noted that Iraq has a prestige in the Arabinan Union and the country can call on union countries to be more active in the Palestine issue using its prestige.
The sides have stressed the necessity of improvement of economic relations much more.
