12th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue being held in Baku

The 12th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue has begun its work in Baku on November 5, Ministry of Defence told APA.

Opening speeches have been delivered by co-chairs at a meeting of delegations in an expanded format and briefings on the state of the regional security environment have been held.

The meeting then continued in assistant working groups.

The current status of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of security, military, military-technical, military medicine, military education, military industry and other areas, development perspectives, main activity directions for the fulfillment of the tasks ahead will be discussed at the meeting, which will last until November 7, as well as the Action Plan for 2020 will be agreed.

Note that, the co-chairman of the meeting from Azerbaijani side is Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Karim Valiyev, and from the Turkish side is Corps General Metin Gurak, the Second Chief of the General Staff of Turkey.
