The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) together with the concerned state agencies continues measures for ensuring reliable defense of civilian population during war period, APA reports.
The wide awareness raising works have been conducted in the frontline zone and among residents of other residential settlements about necessary rules of safe behavior during possible assault of the enemy. The information have been provided to the residents regarding rules of behavior during emergency situations, especially in war condition, correct use of temporary shelters created on homestead areas in order to protect from the enemy’s fire. In this regard, the necessary number of temporary shelters has been created in the residential settlements situated in the whole frontline zone in order to protect from the enemy’s artillery strikes. Besides, the condition of communication and warning system was analyzed for timely warning of the population about large-scale emergency situations during peace period, and the enemy’s attacks during war period, the implementation of relevant measures have been ensured for this purpose using alternative methods.
Note that the Ministry of Emergency Situations is functioning in the enhanced working mode in order to immediately eliminate the damage caused to various facilities including civilian facilities, individual and apartment residential houses, homesteads, infrastructure facilities as a result of the enemy’s artillery fires, the fires broken out as a resul;t of the strikes.
