The border guards of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran will hold a trilateral meeting, the commander of the Iranian border troops, Gasim Rzai told journalists after today's meeting in Astara with the head of the Azerbaijani Border Guard Service Elchin Guliyev, APA reports.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Iran are making efforts to develop transport communications. “Our meeting is a serious message for the forces hungry for tension in the region. No power can bring strife into our relationship. Our future plans include holding bilateral meetings in Baku and Tehran, as well as a tripartite meeting with the participation of Turkish colleagues. These meetings will also be a message for the forces striving to create tension in the region,” G. Rzai emphasized.
