“We try to inform the international community about the occurrences. But Azerbaijan is the state that relies on its own force in the first place. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces give a worthy response to the Armenian army on the battlefield”, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev in his statement to journalists, APA reports.
According to him, after the last terrorist act in Ganja, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces destroyed the great number of military personnel and military equipment of Armenians with great professionalism and accuracy: “We have our say on the battlefield. And this shows the main difference between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as Mr. President Ilham Aliyev said. Azerbaijan doesn’t wage war with civilian people irrespective of their identity”.
H. Hajiyev noted that international organizations are delivered relevant information: “Occurrences in Ganja have been condemned by the European Union, they extended condolences. We welcome it. Ambassadors, acting in Azerbaijan also visited the incident site. We assess this step as solidarity with the Azerbaijani people. UN Secretary-General issued a statement. But we believe in ourselves firstly. Azerbaijan’s work is a work of right, based on international law. Azerbaijan, guided by its right of self-defense, reflected in the UN resolution, is taking necessary measures against the invasive, aggressive country.”
