On October 1, 2019 at 10 pm the movement of raiding-diversion groups from the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces to our territory was detected and prevented on the line of the contact with Armenia in the direction of Gazakh region by Azerbaijani border guards serving in combat positions, the press service of State Border Service of Azerbaijan told APA.
According to the report, at that time Azerbaijan’s border combat points outposts were repeatedly fired by large-scale weapons from different directions by the divisions of the Armenian Armed Forces.
In all cases, the combat positions of the Armenian Armed Forces were silenced by response fire.
