Arms Control Inspection was conducted in military units stationed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ministry of Defence told APA.

An international inspection team led by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, including 8 representatives from Germany and Poland, conducted an inspection and evaluation of the "Specified Area" in the Combined Arms Army.

As part of the "Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe", a number of different types of weapons and military equipment with different purposes were checked, as well as military-household complexes were viewed to get acquainted with living conditions, nutrition and the health status of military personnel.

During the visit, the guests visited the Nakhchivan's Battle Glory Museum and historical monuments and attractions of the autonomous republic.
