Azerbaijan will soon start exports of Yalguzag sniper rifles, the country’s defense industry minister, Yavar Jamalov, told APA on Thursday.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry received orders from several countries for the purchase of Yalguzag sniper rifles, said the minister, noting that the work is underway to execute orders.
Jamalov said that Azerbaijan’s Border Troops are also provided with Yalguzag rifles.
He went on to say that Yalguzag surpasses many other rifles in terms of its technical and tactical capabilities. Yalguzag rifles, which fire the 7.62×51mm NATO round used by the Azerbaijani Land Forces, are produced by local experts.
