One of the successes achieved by modern Azerbaijan is the mighty army it has, said Fuad Alasgarov, Azerbaijani president’s assistant for work with law enforcement bodies and military issues, head of department.
He made the remarks on Friday at the presentation of the project "Sevdiyim" dedicated to the 95th birth anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev and the centenary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, APA reports.
The presidential aide noted that the Azerbaijani army is well-equipped with modern weapons and is ready to perform the most challenging tasks under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
Alasgarov stressed that the Azerbaijani army demonstrated its power in April 2016, raising our tri-color flag in a liberated land.
“We’re certain that the Azerbaijani flag will be waiving in Karabakh very soon,” he added.
