Azerbaijani emergency situations minister meets Pakistani Air Force commander

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov received a delegation led by the Commander of the Military Air Forces of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on September 20, the ministry’s press service told APA.

Minister Heydarov said that the relations between the two countries are rapidly developing and getting stronger year by year.

Giving detailed information about the work done to prevent emergencies and eliminate their consequences, Heydarov outlined wide prospects for cooperation with Pakistan’s relevant authorities.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, in turn, said that the relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan are built on a solid foundation. Hailing the successful development of relations between the two countries, the Pakistani commander underlined the importance of expanding cooperation.

Moreover, the sides stressed the importance of an agreement that is under development between Azerbaijan and Pakistan on joint cooperation in the field of eliminating the consequences of emergency situations. They also mulled the prospects of training Pakistani students at the Academy of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.
