"The main duty of the Defense Minister is to fulfill the tasks given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in the army and prepare the army for the war," the Azerbaijani Defence Minister General colonel Zakir Hasanov said, APA reports.
Minister emphasized that military airplanes on the balance of the Azerbaijani Army are improved and they are ready to realize combat missions. “Helicopter square of the army has been innovated and equipped with modern weapons. Our military helicopters are able to shoot targets at a distance”
Z.Hasanov noted that works are underway regarding to improvement of Azerbaijan's Navy, and technical issues are being solved.
