Today is one year anniversary of launching Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP). 1,8 billion cube meters of natural gas was transported through this pipeline during this period, APA-Economics reports citing Anadolu Agency.

6B cube meters of natural gas will be transported to Turkey through TANAP in 2021.

Note that, it is planned to transport 3B cube meters of natural gas to Turkey through the pipeline by the end of the current year.

According to the General Director of the project, 6B cube meters of natural gas will be exported to Turkey, 10B cube meters to Europe, thus the project will enable to transport 16B cube meters of natural gas. Shareholders of TANAP pipeline will be Southern Gas Corridor CJSC (51%) which is joint enterprise of SOCAR and Ministry of Economy, BOTAS (30%), BP (12%) and SOCAR Turkey Energy (7%).
