282 bln. cubic meters of gas produced in Azerbaijan since commissioning of ACG and "Shahdeniz"

Approximately 282 bln. cubic meters of natural gas have been produced from commissioning of "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" (ACG) and "Shahdeniz" fields till January 1, 2020, "APA-Economics" reports citing Energy Ministry.

From these, 165 bln. cubic meters fall to the share of ACG, and 117 bln. cubic meters – to the share of "Shahdeniz".

During 2019, 35.6 bln. cubic meters of gas were produced which is 5.1 bln. cubic meters or 16.8% more as compared with the production indicator for 2018 (30.5 bln. cubic meters).

In 2019, 6,818.6 mln. cubic meters of the total gas production fell to the share of SOCAR Company, 11,986.2 mln. cubic meters – to the share of ACG field, and 16,811.7 mln. cubic meters – to the share of "Shahdeniz" field (condensate). As compared with 2018, correspondingly the 4.5% growth, the 4.2% reduction and the 46.7% growth were recorded.
