3.75 mln. tons of oil extracted from "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and "Shahdeniz" fields were transported by means of Baku-Supsa western pipeline last year, the Ministry of Energy told "APA-Economics".
As compared with 2018, the volume of oil transported by means of the mentioned pipeline decreased by 0.4%.
Note that the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline (Western Export Pipeline) implements transportation of the oil produced in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea to the world market by transiting it through Georgia’s territory.
