ACG delivered 2.1 bln. cubic metres of gas to SOCAR last year

Last year 2,1 bln. cubic metres associated gas was delivered to SOCAR from ACG oil and gas field block located in Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea mostly through Sangachal Terminal but also to SOCAR’s Oil Rocks facility. This is 8.7% less in comparison to the indicator of 2018, APA-Economics reports citing the report of BP on operations in Azerbaijan for the results of 2019.

According to the information, during the last year ACG delivered an average of 5.7 million cubic metres per day of ACG associated gas to SOCAR.

“The remainder of the associated gas produced was re-injected for reservoir pressure maintenance,” the report reads.

ACG participating interests are: BP (30.37%), SOCAR (25.0%), Chevron (9.57%), INPEX (9.31%), Equinor (7.27%), ExxonMobil (6.79%), TPAO (5.73%), ITOCHU (3.65%), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) (2.31%).
