ACG produced 6 million tons of oil in first quarter

In the first quarter of this year, 6 mln tones of oil have been transported from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas block located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, and this is 6,3% less in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing BP (project operator) report regarding the results of the first quarter of 2021 on operations in Azerbaijan.

At the end of the quarter, ACG operated a total of 133 oil production wells, 45 water injector wells and 8 gas injector wells.

According to the report, in the reporting period, about 142 mln dollars of operating costs and more than 463 dollars of capital expenditures have been spent on the operations in ACG.
