Azerbaijan increased gas import by 40%

Azerbaijan has exported 5 bln cubic meters of gas in the first term of this year and this is about 39, 5% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

During the first 3 months of this year, 15,8% more, to be more exact 3 bln cubic meters of gas has been exported to Turkey in comparison to the relevant period of 2020. During this period, 1,4 bln cubic meters of gas has been transported to Turkey through the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).

According to the information, in the reporting period, 784 mln cubic meters of gas has been exported to Georgia.
