Azerbaijan reduced volume of electricity export to Georgia by 10% last year

Azerbaijan exported 1 101 975 412,4 kWh electricity to Georgia in 2019, it has been reflected in the report of Electricity System Commercial Operator of Georgia (ESCO) APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

It was stated in the report that, this indicator decreased by 10,4% or 128 113 631,5 kWh in comparison to the previous year. Thus, the the volume of Azerbaijan’s electricity export to Georgia was 1 230 089 043,9 kWh in 2018.

Merely in December of the last year, Azerbaijan exported 197 969 081,1 kWh electricity to Georgia. This is 12% or 27 008 038,1 kWh less in comparison to the related period of the previous year.
