Azerbaijani President makes changes in composition of State Commission

Composition of the State Commission on the implementation of full-field development of Shah Deniz gas-condensate field (“SD2”), South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (“SCPX”), implementation of Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (“TANAP”) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (“TAP”) projects, has been changed, APA reports.

It has been noted in the Order on the changes in Order №15 signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated October 29, 2013 “On the Measures on transportation of Azerbaijan’s gas to the world market through South Caucasus Gas Corridor”.

According to the Order, composition of the State Commission, approved in accordance with the first part of the Order №15 signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated October 29, 2013 (Legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2013, №10, Article 1188; 2016 №8 Article 1384; 2018 №6 Article 1297), is given below:

“Chairman of the Commission

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Members of the Commission

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Economic Affairs and Innovation Development Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan

President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.

State Commission is instructed to solve issues, arising from this Order.
