During January-April of this year, the import of gas by Georgia from Azerbaijan decreased by 54,490 cubic meters or 6.3% in annual comparison and made up 802,768.1 cubic meters, APA’s local bureau reports citing the report of Georgia’s National Statistics Department.
In the reporting period, the value of the gas imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan made up $ 136,822.3 thousand which is $ 9,701.1 thousand or 6.6% less in annual comparison.
Note that during January-April of last year, Georgia imported from Azerbaijan 857,258.1 cubic meters of gas worth $ 146,523.4 thousand.
