In January-November of the current year, 2 072 cars have been produced in Azerbaijan, which is 2.6 times more in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
During the reported period, the production of tractor decreased by 26.1% to stand at 901 in Azerbaijan.
The report says the products with the value of AZN 299.5 mln. were produced in the area of manufacturing of machine tools and equipment, other transport facilities, automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers in the country during 11 months of this year, and as compared with relevant period of the previous year, the volume of production of machine tools and equipment increased by 5.2%, production of other transport facilities – by 10%, and production of automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers – by 24.3%
