Oil GDP decreases by 2,1% in Azerbaijan

In January-February of this year, the volume of GDP produced in Azerbaijan increased by 2,8% and constituted AZN 12 578,0 mln in comparison to the related period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, added value in the non-oil sector of economy increased by 6,7%, however, decreased by 2,1% in oil and gas sector.

During the reporting period, 43,6% of GDP production fell on share of industry, 9,6% trade; repair of transport vehicles, 6,9% transport and warehousing, 4,7% construction, 2,9% agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 2,6% accommodation of tourists and public catering, 2% information and communication fields, 18,6% other fields. Net taxes on products and imports constituted 9,1% of GDP.
