“More than 2 bln. tones of oil and nearly 900 bln cubic meters of gas have been produced in Azerbaijan with an industrial method,” SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said while delivering a speech at Energy Forward event organized by Baker Hughes company.
According to him, there are Bibiheybat, Balakhani, Surakhani fields among the fields which are in development, but runing out of resources.
“Although these fields have high water content, they still have productive coating, they are the fields with aggressive corrosion and erosion environment,” R. Abdullayev said.
