SOCAR decreases gas tariff for bakeries in Georgia

SOCAR Gas Georgia has decreased natural gas tariffs for bakeries in Georgia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports citing Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.

She said that one of the Georgia’s largest gas distributing companies SOCAR Gas Georgia has demonstrated social responsibility and decreased tariff for 1 c/m of natural gas by 10 Tetris (AZN 0.05) for bakeries. Thus mentioned institutions will pay 0.76 Lari (AZN 0.41) per 1 c/m of natural gas, which they use, instead of 0.86 Lari (AZN 0.46) in April and May of the current year.

N. Turnava noted the decision will pave the way for bakeries, acting in Georgia, to maintain of price of bread and very essential for people. The Miinister has expressed her gratitude to the Administrative Board of the Company for the decision.
