In January-April of this year, Turkey imported 3 645,81 cubic metres of gas from Azerbaijan which is 22% more in comparison to the related period of 2019. So, Azerbaijan ranks second place in Turkey’s total gas import, according to APA-Economics calculations based on the information provided by Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
In January-April of 2019, Turkey imported 2 989,11 mln cubic metres of gas from Azerbaijan.
According to the information, in April of this year, Azerbaijan ranked in the first place in Turkey’s gas import with 916,57 mln cubic metres of gas. Russia has ranked in second place with 470,33 mln cubic metres. In April Turkey did not import gas from Iran.
