Azerbaijani gas is delivered to Turkish-European border via TANAP

Gas extracted from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz field was delivered to Turkish-European border through the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP), which is part of the Southern Gas Corridor, SOCAR told APA Economics.

The Shah Deniz gas reached to the Georgian-Turkish border via TANAP on January 23, 2018, was delivered to the European border on Independence Day on June 15, 2019.

Turkey’s gas imports via the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) reached 1,8 billion cubic meters. By the end of the current year, it is planned to transport 3 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey via this pipeline.
