General Director of Azerigas: “Review of gas tariffs was inevitable”

On October 16, a decision on tariff regulation of wholesale and retail prices for natural gas has been adopted at the meeting of the Tariff Council. According to the decision, tariffs were increased from AZN 0.10 to AZN 0.12 for the part of up to 1200 m3 of the annual consumption of the population. Tariffs for 1200-2500 m3 and 2500 m3 was AZN 0.20 and AZN 0.25 respectively, and were not changed and remained at the previous level. Gas tariffs for non-population industrial and agricultural gas increased from AZN 0.20 to AZN 0.22. I would like to say that really review of gas tariffs was inevitable,” said Ruslan Aliyev General Director of Azerigas Production Union, APA reports.
