In January-April of this year, Georgia imported 609 009,4 tonnes of gas worth USD 92 813,8 thousand, from Azerbaijan, APA’s Georgian bureau reports citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Noted that the value of imported product decreased by 20,2% or USD 23 567,8 thousand, while volume decreased by 24.1% or 193 758,7 thousand tons in annual comparison.
In the reporting period, Georgia imported gas worth USD 148 576,8 thousand from Azerbaijan, which is 7.5% less in annual comparison. 62.4% of Georgia's gas import in the current year falls to share of Azerbaijan.
