Amount of goods, produced by industrial institutions and individual entrepreneurs, acting in this field in Azerbaijan has become AZN 30.9 bln. in January-August of the current year, and this is by 2% more in comparison with the relevant period of 2018, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistical Committee.
Product manufacture has increased by 15.2% in non-oil sector of industry.
According to the Committee, 70% of industrial productions - the mining industry, 25.1% - manufacture industry, 4.2% - electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sphere, and 0.7% - water supply, waste treatment, and disposal field.
Oil production in mining sector has decreased by 2.5%, while natural gas production increased by 30.9%.
In manufacture industry production of wood and wood outputs increased by 2,2 times, ready-made metal products- 80.1%, computers, electronic and optical products – 78%, beverage products – 44.9%, knitting products – 35.8%, tobacco products – 32.2%, chemical industry products – 30.7%, furniture production – 30.4%, paper and pasteboard production – 26.7%, installation and repair works of machines and equipment – 26.6%, rubber and plastic products – 24.4%, food products – 15.7%, printing and publishing products – 12%, production of machinery and equipment – 4.6%, production of construction materials – 4.2%, production of clothes – 8.1%, production of oil products – 1.6%, while production of chemistry pharmacological products has decreased by 9.8%, production of electrical equipment – 11.1%, transportation means – 14.3%, metal industry – 16.1%, leather, leather materials, and shoes – 16.4%, cars – 34.5%.
Amount of production has increased by 3.3% in electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sphere, and 8.5% in water supply, waste treatment, and disposal field.
