In January-April of the current year, 11 903,8 thousand tonnes of oil were transported through main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan which is 7,2% less in comparison to the relevant indicator of 2020, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
76,1% of transportation was carried out through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. During the reporting period, more than 9 062 thousand tonnes of oil was transferred through the BTC pipeline (an 11,9% decrease in comparison to the relevant period of 2020).
“During the reporting period, 1 289,1 thousand tones of transit oil (13,3% decrease-ed.) was also transported through BTC pipeline,” the information reads.
