“According to the tasks of the head of the state Azerenergy developed Karabakh Energy Strategy on the establishment of the electro energy infrastructure in the liberated territories from the occupation, the head of Technical Production Department of Azerenergy OJSC Mukhtar Makhmudov, APA reports.
According to him, Karabakh Energy Strategy considers construction of 110 kW substations in each region and their integration into the country system via high voltage electricity lines itself: “Taking into consideration Aghdam city has been elected as a regional center in Karabakh region, "Azerenergy" OJSC has started construction of two 110 kW substations in Aghdam district. The power of each of these substations is 2x40 ml and is a network, which is open to expansion. Depending on increasing demand in the future, construction of new substations is also possible. A line, of which power is 110 kW and strength is 40 km, is being established to the Khindiristan substation in Aghdam, situated far from occupation, in order to join these substations to the electricity supply network. This line enters into Aghdam-1 substation, then into Aghdam-2 substation. In general, according to the Karabakh Energy Strategy, substations will operate in all districts, liberated from occupation, until end of this year.”
