Azerbaijan gets decline in crude oil production

In January-February 2017, Azerbaijan produced products worth AZN 4.7 billion in the mining sector of industry, down 5% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the crude oil production made up 6.3 million tonnes, marketable gas production 3.3 bcm.

In the reporting period, 6,353,400 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) were produced in the country, down 7.4% compared to the four months of previous year. Consequently, the finished product made 635,300 tonnes. Of this, 6,345,900 tonnes made up marketable oil, which is 7.3% lower than previous year.

During the reporting period, 4,737,400 cubic meters of gas were produced in the country, down 3% from 2016. Finished product stood at 2,549,200 cubic meters.
