In January-September 2017 the oil products amounted to AZN 1,960,200,000, down 9.8% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline production rose 5.1% to 874,200 tonnes (finished products – 29,500 tonnes), diesel production fell 20.9% to 1,362,000 tonnes (55,700 tonnes), the kerosene production declined 6% to 445,400 tonnes (17,700 tonnes), oil bitumen production rose 14.6% to 158,700 tonnes (3,000 tonnes), lubricating oil increased 3.2-fold to 24,300 tonnes (3,500 tonnes).
In the reporting period, 13,700 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced, down 0.6% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished product made up 1,800 tonnes.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 258,100 tonnes of furnace oil, down 40.7% from 2016 (finished products – 11,100 tonnes). As of October 1, 2017, petroleum coke production rose 9.3% to 152,400 tonnes (finished product 6,100 tonnes).
