Azerbaijan reduces gas export to Turkey

In January 2017 Azerbaijan exported 590.35 million m³ of gas to Turkey, down 0.7% from previous year. Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey reported.

In January 2016 Azerbaijan exported 594.46 million cubic meters of gas to this country.

According to the data as at end of January, Azerbaijan’s share in Turkey’s gas import amounted to 9.98%. while it was 11.02% in January 2016.

In January Turkey imported 5.914.340.000 m³ of gas. Of this, 2.829.410.000 m³ was imported from Russia, 789.58 million m³ from Iran and 636.6 million m³ from Algeria.
