Azerbaijan sees 11% in gas production

In January-April 2018 the production in mining sector amounted to AZN 10.9 billion, up 0.1% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, the crude oil production made up 12.8 million tonnes, marketable gas production – 5.6 billion cubic meters.

In January-April 2018, 12,817,100 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) were produced, up 1.4% from a year earlier. As of May 1, 2018 the finished products stood at 250,700 tonnes, of which 12,799,900 tonnes were marketable oil, up 1.4% in comparison to a year ago.

In the reporting period, gas production across the country made up 9,280,700,000 cubic meters, up 5.8% from 2017. Of this, 5,602,700,000 cubic meters was marketable gas, down 10.8% in comparison to a year earlier.
