Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan wil increase gold reserves 0.97% this year, APA-Economics reports citing to Azerbaijan’s state budget package for 2017.
According to package, the country is planned to produce 2,250.88 kg gold ores adnm concentrates in 2016.
According to the forecasts, the country will produce 2,418.2 kg of gold in 2017, up 7.44% from 2016.
Moreover, 1,410.9 kg of gold ores and concentrates will b e produced in 2018, 1,638 kg in 2019 and 451.6 kg in 2020.
Silver ores and concentrates will triple this year. According to the forecasts, Azerbaijan will produce 420.2 kg of silver in 2017, up 7.47% from this year.
Silver ores and concentrate production wil make up 245.4 kg in 2018, 284.6 kg in 2019 and 78.5 kg in 2020.
