BP-Azerbaijan has tightened security measures in connection with the strong wind, head of press service of BP-Azerbaijan Tamam Bayatli told APA-Economics.
According to her, the company has relevant security rules and procedures for different weather conditions.
‘All procedures for today’s weather have been started. That’s all works likely to be affected by the strong wind have been postponed. Moreover, number of workers in open air has been limited’, she said.
BP-Azerbaijan spokeswoman added that the company does not have a plan to stop oil and gas production, drilling and export operations.
