“If we take into account today’s reality, we’ll face losses. We could not win in economy sphere. We have agreement with Azerbaijan and it exports gas to us at commercial prices. In this case, dependence on Russian gas is equal to zero”, he said.

Earlier, Georgian president Giorgi Margvelashvili criticized the agreement. According to him, this agreement is political and economic risk for Georgia.

But the government does not agree with the president and calls the agreement maximum rational. However, the government does not announce the details of the agreement.

Georgia reached a new agreement with Gazprom on new conditions for gas transit to Armenia. According to agreement, Gazprom will pay transit fee as money for gas transportation to Armenia through Georgia. The agreement was signed for two years.
