Istanbul. Mayis Alizade – APA. Saudi Arabia will continue to invest in energy sector, Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said at the 23rd World Energy Congress in Istanbul.
Speaking about main lines of Saudi Arabia’s energy policy, Khalid al-Falih said Saudi Arabia has necessary preparations for this: “If the market needs, we’ll increase the oil output. Presently, we have to care about fates of 7 billion people. In 2050, 2 billion will be added to this. As one main players of the market, we must take into account all these factors”.
Khalid al-Falih added that finance ministers and central bankers of OPEC member analyze the situation at the meetings held once every two months.
