SOCAR has 85% equity in TANAP. Because we have not access to sea, it’s important for us to transport produced hydrocarbon to abroad. Therefore, TANAP is of great importance for us, Director General of SOCAR Turkey Energy Zaur Gahramanov said.
According to him, 93% of TANAP has been completed: ‘We are planning to sell first gas to Turkey in the middle of the next year. As you know, we expect TANAP total cost to make up $8.5 billion’.
As for revenues from TANAP, Gahramanov said that this depends on volume of the gas.
He stressed that TANAP will provide stable revenue.
