International conference â€œHeydar Aliyev and religious policy in Azerbaijan: Realities and prospectsâ€ to be held

International conference â€œHeydar Aliyev and religious policy in Azerbaijan: Realities and prospectsâ€ will be held in Baku on April 3-4, Hidayat Orudjov , chairman of the State Committee for Religious Communities told APA. He also said that the conference will be attended by representatives from 21 countries. The participants of the conference are state officials, religious figures, theologians, specialists on Azerbaijan and the Caucasus, ambassadors to Azerbaijan and they are expected to address the meeting.
Chief of the Caucasus Moslems Office Hadji Allahshukur Pashazada is also to attend the international conference. The conference is to issue resolution and appeal to Azerbaijani President and international organizations.
Hidayat Orudjov emphasized the wideness of the subject â€œHeydar Aliyev and religious policy in Azerbaijan: Realities and prospectsâ€.
â€œThe positive religious situation, ensure of freedom of religion, good relations between confessions, tolerance towards national and religious minorities in Azerbaijan are welcoming, and this tolerance is supported by the government./APA/
