Today is the first Laylat al Qadr in Azerbaijan, Fuad Nurullayev, deputy chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office told APA.
According to him, the first Laylat al-Qadr this year falls on the night of May 1-2: “The first Laylat al-Qadr becomes on 18th day of the Ramadan. In addition, Laylat al-Qadr will be on the 20th (May 3), 22 (May 5) and 26th (May 9) of Ramadan. People always gathered in mosques on the nights of Qadr and prayed together. This year, there is still no opportunity to gather in mosques as the pandemic continues. For this reason, people can spend Laylat al-Qadr in their homes, with their families, and perform their prayers and worships”, he said.
